Join us for a literary picnic lunch to celebrate eight full years of the Twin Cities Literary Calendar! Rain Taxi and The Commons will be providing soft drinks and snacks, tables and chairs; you can drop in any time, and feel free to bring along a picnic lunch or a food item to share. At 1 pm we’ll have a brief toast, some prize giveaways, and a few announcements from our Calendar Partners regarding some great upcoming author events, but mostly this is just a chance to hang out with others in the Twin Cities famed literary community — there’s no finer in the country!

DIRECTIONS
The Commons is located at 425 Portland Avenue South, Minneapolis — right next to US Bank Stadium. Rain Taxi’s LIT COMMUNITY PICNIC will take place on the west block of the park, in the reading area.
PARKING INFO:
There is Metered Street Parking all around, and two ramps: Haaf Parking Ramp at 424 4th Street South, and Mills Fleet Farm Ramp at 740 4th Street South. Biking and transit are great options too, of course!
