TWIN CITIES BOOK FESTIVAL
All Day Activities
Food at the Festival!
We are pleased to announce that a variety of State Fairgrounds concessions will be open in and around the Progress Center during the Twin Cities Book Festival! You'll find plenty of great stuff to eat and drink, such as:
• fair favorites: burgers, chicken sandwiches, pulled pork sandwiches, hot dogs, fries;
• healthy & vegetarian alternatives: black bean chili, mediterranean wraps, grilled cheese sandwiches;
• beverages and treats: coffee and cappuccino drinks, sodas, water, cinnamon rolls, ice cream, and more!
Vendors will be open during Festival hours, 10 am to 5 pm, so no booklover will go hungry. See you there!

There may have been rain on our parade this summer, but we’re going to light off our latest writing project at the Twin Cities Book Festival, and cause some serious literary mayhem! When you stop by the Festival, bring a submission of fiction, creative nonfiction, poetry, or comic art and drop it off at the Firecracker Mailbox—or create something that very day for your entry: How about an impromptu review of a Festival performance, or an imagistic couplet about the faces in the crowd? From the entries in the mailbox, we’ll edit and produce Firecracker, Volume 1—and create a time capsule of an already memorable day.
Literary Magazine Fair
Awesome new literary magazines from around the nation, available at incredibly low try-out prices! Co-sponsored by the Council of Literary Magazines and Presses.
